Reverie
An artistic and collaborative project exploring dreamy reflections on future and progress through musical structures.
Mattia Sarti and I have known each other since we have memories. This project stemmed from our conversation about future, progress, and the uncertainty that we are facing as humanity. We decided to work enchanging as a dialog between his illustrations and my own text.
The work is inspired by inspired by thoughts that unconscioly associate during walks in the nature “Reverie”, and are trying to do defy a logic approach, and rather prefer a more organic, poetic approach. There is not phylosophical intention, in the sense that we are not trying to formulate any speficic argument or theory, but rather instead expoloring the concept from a poetic standpoint. For this reason, I have been experimenting with musical forms as I wanted the languag to have a musical flow, rahter than a logical development.
The project is still in progress, and we are currently exploring opportunities to further expand it and to publish it.
